In Mysterious Ways

I want the Prophylactics to play in my wedding. Pokey, Lubey and Rubber - I love those guys!

Big thanks goes out to Mr. Bender for his assorted gifts:

-breath mints
-band-aids
-tape
-condoms
-cd
-35mm film

Shimbashi! Shimbashi! Shimbashi!

Odaiba was a trip (literally). Thank you Keiko and Kyoko for a wonderful day fortunately not washed away in the rain. Too bad I missed the lunar eclipse (due to overcast), but there's something to be said about riding a ferris wheel in the early stages of a thunder storm. "Kaminari" apparently means both lighting AND thunder in Japanese. Who'd have guessed.

New word I made up: 高空車(こうくうしゃ/koukuushya)
It means "monorail" so say it from now on instead of "モノレール."

My aunt finally made it to the United States. My grandparents are happy. Things are coming into place and gradually turning better. I'm even getting new underwear in the mail soon. Or so I thought (regarding the comment about good things, not the underwear - the underwear is definitely going to come) until I dropped my toothbrush in the toilet this morning. What the hell is it with me and my luck with toothbrushes anyway? At least the underwear I'm getting comes with a toothbrush as well. But if this is an omen, it spells bad things for my teeth. I better stop chewing on ice.

I hope that this weekend I'll be getting drunk in Yokohama and rocking out at the Noodles concert.

Note to self: take a lot of pictures.
