Into piece

Things have settled down a little since my last entry. Little by little the frustration is dropping like the temperature, and I'm figuring my way around. Classes have been good to me so far. I have internet now, only a little slower and sketchier than I'd expected. Still spending money on a lot of things, mainly beer, but I trust my brother's accounting consultation that my money will last me all year. Pictures will be up by the end of the month. I'm working part time as an English teacher. All in all things are going well.

Last weekend I splurged a little too much, but it was worth it. The Beer Festival at Sky Building Umeda was a neat experience. Then on the free karaoke Saturday night with the English school staff and students I lost the ability to refuse offers of mug after mug of beer from a drunk parent. And Sunday went out for more beers with a few female Japanese friends. It was a very beery weekend. Most disappointing, though, was finding out that one of said female friends is going steady with a boy for three years. She's a cool lady, with her odd style consisting of throwback shoes, and I'm glad for her. I was crushing on her for a little bit, but her boy better treat her right. Oh well, there's plenty of girls to go around, I suppose.

Last night was an interesting experience. A few, well, more than a few buddies of mine and some lady friends had Korean dinner and afterwards, a trip to the local Onsen, or public bath. It was relaxing, though a little dehydrating, and surprisingly, a very comfortable environment in that no one had any qualms about letting their junk hang out. Needless to say though, I weathered a few drastic temperature changes, leading to some massive shrinkage.

Today was a very good day. I met some new cute looking girls, had some interesting conversations, etcetera. I want to go to Mongolia.

I'm still a little sick.

I gave blood a few weeks ago.

And that's all I have to say about that.

(sorry for being so cryptic towards the end there)
