Because I'm miles away from home

In a sea of yellow, I suddenly found myself surrounded by white giants.

Days pass like trains through stations. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of yourself reflected by their mirrors, a ghostly image that flutters with each passing frame. You wonder if it's really you you're seeing, or maybe a reflection of something that lurks deeper within you. But it blurs and fades before you draw any real conclusions as the sea pulls you back down back in its current, drowning you in its loneliness.

Daily life turns into monotonous routine. You take what you can get to escape the mechanical process, try to grasp what little humanity you can find in the machine. A familiar song you've never heard, a familiar scene from a movie you saw long ago. You pick up the pieces of yourself you've lost along the way, keep them stored for when you can break free, waiting for that time to come.

Don't ever forget how you felt that day. Don't ever forget what thoughts ran through your head.

"These are the kind of pictures I want to take."
"I wish I knew who sang this."
"She's a lot cuter now with her hair like that."

It'll help you remember who you are and what you came here to do.

23/30

I'm making it better.
